Croajingolong National Park

Our boutique resort sits restfully on the banks of the Mallacoota Inlet in the heart of Australia’s very own World Biosphere Reserve — the majestic Croajingolong National Park.

This Park is great for water sports such as surfing, swimming, diving, snorkelling and some freshwater fishing. It is also a wonderful place too admire the extraordinary diversity of landscapes, from rocky coastal headlands to pure white sandy beaches or even a just a leisurely walk to see the diverse range of flora and fauna, with more than 1,000 native plants and 300 species of birds.

Gabo Island

Gabo Island lies in Bass Strait, 13 kilometres from Mallacoota and the wilderness coast of Croajingolong National Park. You can take a fifteen minute scenic flight and explore the Island, with a very large fairy penguin colony. The lighthouse also provides visitors with unparalleled views of the wilderness coast.

Wingan Inlet

Some of the park’s most beautiful walks including the Lake Elusive Walk are found here. Lake Elusive is a tranquil spot where orchids and dazzling wildflowers bloom during spring and summer.

Genoa Peak

Genoa Peak is 490 metres above sea level, and certainly worth the walk for the views back to Mallacoota Inlet, the ocean and surrounding countryside.

Genoa Falls

Falls, with large granite rocks and water dragons there to greet you. Take a picnic and sit listening to the running water and bird calls

Wallagaraugh Forest Drive

Short drive over the border into NSW, featuring a beautiful rain forest walk and a picnic lookout point over the lakes and Mallacoota to the sea.
